tori’s stories
A barefoot sweetcorn farmer and former apple orchard worker, Tori Leppert is a small town girl with stories to tell. She started her storytelling journey by picking up her dad's old Guild guitar and writing about the deeper stages of life. Her parents grew her up on listening to the classics such as: The Eagles, Elton John, Dolly Parton, Sheryl Crow, and Tori Amos.
Feeling deeply connected to nature, she incorporates metaphors using honeybees, berry bushes, and hummingbirds in her songs about sobriety, abusive relationships, small towns, grieving, familial relationships, and more.
She performs regularly around the Los Angeles music scene while co-writing with multiple artists of many genres in Los Angeles, Nashville, and Chicago.
She brings an authentic taste of life's reality to each table as both a poet and songwriter. Her goal is to create her own genre of folk/americana music that connects with every listener by making them cry, laugh, sing along, or feel seen.
Listen to her latest release, Home - 2025 , a goodbye song she wrote for her family, friends, and soulmate (her grandmother) before leaving Illinois to live in Los Angeles.
